Presentation of Life Membership
At
 Lodge of Peace No7 T.C.

V. Wor. Bro. Graham Deacon (Wor. Master) with Wor. Bro. Bert Mainwaring.

Wor. Bro Albert (Bert) John Mainwaring was Initiated into Lodge of Peace No7 T.C. on May 17th 1949.  Passed to the 2nd Degree on October 18th 1949. Raised to the 3rd Degree on July 18th 1950.

Bert was invested in all Offices leading up to being Installed as Junior Warden and Senior Warden and was Installed as Worshipful Master in 1957. He was elected as Preceptor of the Lodge in 1959 and in 1961 was invested as Director  Of Ceremonies.

From 1960 through to the late 1970s was a “boom” time for Lodge of Peace as there were many initiates. Bert excelled in becoming a very good ritualist presenting many charges.

In 1999 Bert was presented with his 50 year Jewel. This year, 2009 he was presented with a 60 year Bar and Certificate.

For the work he has done for Freemasonry in general and this Lodge of Peace in particular, the Members of Lodge of Peace agree that Bert Mainwaring is a very worthy recipient of Life Membership of the Lodge.
